Edelbrock Performer intake manifold for 1965-1979 Pontiac V8 (except Ram Air V, 265 and 301)
Edelbrock Performer dual-plane manifold is designed for street engines with a power range between idle and 5500 rpm, the intake is considered a stock replacement for 1966-1972 326, 350, 400 and 455 engines with O.E.M. 4-bbl carburetors (also 1973 non-California engines). It will also accept Holley 4-bbl, but does not have provisions for the E.G.R. Stock brackets can be used except on 1967-1971 models which must use throttle bracket (# A39) for proper mounting of the accelerator cable, as this manifold only has provisions for the 1972 cable bracket (# TB50). The rear upper A/C compressor bracket must be drilled in order to bolt to the intake. On stock manifolds this bolt hole was located further inboard towards the carburetor. A stock carburetor must be used with this intake to clear Trans Am shaker hoods.
