Alternator Stamp XC Std Alt for 1969-1970 Pontiac models.
This stamp is located on the body of the alternator. This is for 69-70 Pontiac Engines without AC - the standard alternator.
It has been documented in both black ink and dark purple. It is the code of the alternator that appeared on the build sheet so the assembly line worker would know which one to put on the car.
Note: You can use stamp ink from the office supply store or spray paint. Spray the paint on a test board wait a minute for it to firm up and stamp the paint then the engine.
